Martial Arts Classes Coming to Rector

Starting Tuesday, September 20, 2011, at 5:30, Seth Miller will be teaching Traditional Okinawan Karate classes at NEAITC.  Children will learn and be ranked and adults may rank in Karate, but it is not mandatory.  All participants must wear active clothing that covers the body. No shorts allowed.  Parents will not be allowed to watch children's classes due to the distractions caused to the children.  There will be assigned days throughout the course parents will be allowed to sit in.  Eventually students will need to purchase equipment such as: mouthpiece, gloves, head gear, foot pads, and possibly other items.  However, this will be discussed in advance in class.

Stand up fighting will be taught in the form of kickboxing and karate.  Ground fighting in the forms of jiu-jitsu and hapkido will be taught, and weapons upon completion of basics in all other areas.  If you have questions, please call the Training Center at 870-595-2300.
